Dr Gwynn is now the senior partner having joined the practice in 2002. Before moving to the Cotswolds he was a GP and Police Surgeon in the city of Cambridge. After qualifying to be a GP in 1992 he went back to university to do a Masters Degree in Public Health medicine. He is the South Cotswolds Commissioning Chair and leads on service development projects for Gloucestershire CCG. He is passionate about breaking down barriers between organisations so that we all work together to ensure the best services are available to the practice and locality populations. He is interested in all aspects of general practice but particularly enjoys dermatology, minor surgery, joint injections, diabetes, cardiology and occupational health medicine.

Dr Norman joined The Avenue as a full time partner in 2005 after a number of years working in a practice in Cambridgeshire where he also ran the local GP training scheme. He is qualified as a GP trainer and supports the GP Registrars who work with us in the practice. When not at work he enjoys spending time with his wife and son, visiting contemporary art galleries and looking after their three chickens Margo, Vivienne and Miranda.

Dr Tiffney qualified as a GP in 2000 and moved to the surgery in 2008 from Scotland. She works part time as a partner at the practice. She enjoys all aspects of general practice but has particular interests in general medicine, research , women's health and family planning. She is qualified as an clinical supervisor to assist with training in the practice.

Dr Keitley joined the practice as a Partner in 2011, having trained with the RAF and then spent 8 years as a GP partner in Swindon. She has taken over the role of Senior medical officer at 29 Regt, South Cerney, and also has interests in womens' health, respiratory and musculoskeletal medicine. She is also involved with GP training, acting as Clinical Supervisor to GP registrars within the practice.
Dr Keitley also sits on the Local Medical Committee representing the South Cotswold GPs.
She lives locally with her family and thoroughly enjoys all the outdoor pursuits that the area has to offer.

Dr Urquhart joined the practice as a Salaried GP in November 2013. Prior to becoming a GP he trained as a General Surgeon in the Northwest of England.
As well as working in General Practice, Dr Urquhart also works in Accident and Emergency Medicine and in Sexual Health at The Great Western Hospital in Swindon.
He enjoys the great outdoors and is keen on hillwalking and mountaineering.

We have a team of dedicated and skilled practice nurses who run clinics daily. Appointments can be booked for contraceptive reviews, dressings, cervical smears and health checks, also travel and routine immunisations and advice. They also run our chronic disease clinics, which look after the health needs of our patients with asthma, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, COPD and hypertension, amongst others.
Our practice manager is responsible for the overall running of the surgery and she oversees all aspects of this, from appointment demand to staff matters. Ms Logan is the person to speak to if you have any suggestions or comments about our service – just ask at the desk or email her directly on firstname.lastname@example.org
We have an experienced Medical Secretary and Recall Manager who are happy to help with any administrative queries you may have.
Our experienced team of receptionists will help you to obtain the appropriate appointment, help with prescription enquiries or home visit requests. They will always do their best and will treat you with courtesy – we request that you do the same when speaking to them.

Available for child health monitoring and advice until the age of 5, and contactable on 0300 421 8922.
