We offer a range of prebookable and urgent appointments at the surgery,to try to accommodate all our patients' needs. These can be booked in person, by phone or online. In addition, there are weekday evening and weekend appointments available at the surgery or another surgery/Cirencester Hospital. These appointments are bookable through the practice.
Urgent appointment and home visit requests will be referred promptly to our duty doctor for triage assessment to ensure the most appropriate course of action is taken.
Appointments are usually 10 minutes long, however we are trialing an increase in appointment length in response to our patients' increasingly complex needs. We hope this will reduce any wait in the surgery and will keep you updated on how this is progressing.
Only one major or two minor problems may be dealt with during a 10 minute slot, if you have more issues then the doctor or nurse may ask you to rebook for a further appointment. This is so that we can deal with all of your problems in a safe and effective manner.
The time of the doctors and nurses is limited and they may have many patients to see. Please do not delay them without good reason. There are, however occasions when you or another patient needs a longer consultation. Sometimes this will delay your appointment. Please take this into account when you are waiting, because you may need a longer consult at some time.
Appointments are for one person only and should not be made for more than one person
Telephone appointments may be made, these are often for less serious or follow up issues and a number are available daily.
The practice employs 4 nurses who are available by appointment every day.
Baby Vaccinations by invitation every Tuesday between 14:00 and 1530.
